Purchased 2 of these chests for my son's room. I'm perplexed at the other reviews compared to my own experience with this product, although I don't question the truthfulness of anyone else's experience.
Here's my review of this product: arrived safely and well packaged, the chest is all metal except for a grey woodgrain laminate top (as noted in the description). It seems sturdy as we were moving it around, turning it upside down, etc. when assembling the feet and handles. Although I'm not crazy about laminate either, it actually seems attractive considering its laminate--reminds me of a grey driftwood pattern--that blends nicely with the rest of the chest. All four drawers glide smoothly both opening and closing. It is easy to attach the legs and drawer handles.
I paired this chest with a chrome shelf and wire mesh containers to store toys Seville Classics SHE18370B 18-Inch by 36-Inch by 72-Inch Shelving System, Chrome in my son's room and the chrome on the chest blends well with the chrome shelves.

The one sent to me was damaged at the manufacturer or re-boxed. It came packaged very well double boxed with foam all around. With no damage to the outer box or inner box I took the outer box to be recycled and when I tore the inner box off I noticed one corner smashed in pretty good and the bottom drawer bent when I removed all the packaging I realized another corner bent and the whole thing looks as though it was dropped.
Now having said all that the piece is very well made I own another part of this collection and love it. So for now I'm watching out for a great price on another 4-drawer dresser and I'll put the damaged one in my garage.

I hestatted in ordering this based on reviews of buyers having to send back their dressers upon receiving due to damaged item. AFter waiting and needing this, I am quite bummed that it was dented on the top back corner (very much visible) and a few other areas on the side. Care was taken in packaging the dresser, seeing as there were welded metal corner braced on each corner-top and bottom for the box. But for the sides, flimsy styrofoam just didn't cut it.
For the rest of the review, this dresser is stunning and a perfect fit for my son's bedroom. The light reflected off it brightens the room in a welcoming manner. We also purchased the matching nightstand. It arrived flawless.
Putting together these items was a cinch! Just some hexwrenches/ allen keys and voila!
I would deff order again, but would appreciate if amazon gets back with me. Nearly $400 for this dresser, yet it arrived damaged isn't exactly very cool.
